Skills and Experience:

• MINIMUM 3 YEARS OF PRIOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE MANDATORY
• Well organized and ability to multi-task
• Good Communicator
• Problem solving capabilities.
• Experience with developing and managing project budgets.
• Clear understanding of resource management
• Experience with developing and managing a project schedule. MS Project experience preferred.
• Facility and Manufacturing experience required.
• Must be able to perform short term (1-2 weeks) periodic travel.
• Ability to do long term, out of town travel (6-18 months) with bi-monthly trips home preferred by not required.
• High attention to detail
• Direct and lead project team to perform all project requirements.

Position Duties:

The duties of this position include, but may not be limited to:

• Work with sales and management staff to understand project deliverables, timing, and required resources.
• Develop a detailed project budget including manpower allocation and expenses.
• develop a detailed project schedule including kickoff and closeout meetings, project status review meetings, deliverables, and project closeout.
• Maintain budget and schedule (project plan) on a weekly basis
• Communicate with upper management of project status, concerns, issues, or needs.
• Keep customer informed on project and budget status via clear and consistent communication.
• Direct project team as needed to ensure their thorough understanding of their roles and responsibilities
• Maintain scope change log and communicate impact to customer on a timely basis.
• Maintain and update as needed the Lessons Learned for each project.
• Work with project team to identify possible scope growth & additional sales opportunities.

Computer Skills:

• Microsoft Office (Proficient in Word and Excel, 5 Years)
• Microsoft Project (2 years preferred)
• AutoCAD (5 years preferred)

Education:

• Technical School

• Valid drivers license
• US citizenship
